I used this kit to replace a 72" bifold door track that had been painted way too many times. The doors were still in great shape but some of the hardware was also painted over or well worn. It is almost impossible to find a 72" track, so I was happy to come across this one.
I received the item unbent and in great shape. I didn't use the hinges, knobs or aligners, but they are nearly identical to the ones sold in all the hardware stores and look like they would work well. The track went up without any issue and the standard paint on the track looks great! The top adjuster works reasonably well. However, the adjuster can move if pushed hard enough, despite being tightened down by the screw. This hasn't been an issue for me in normal use.
I used a set of plastic rollers that I already had, so I didn't have to enlarge the holes on the doors to accept the metal roller and pivots that came with the kit. However, the rollers and pivots look well built and if the plastic ones fail Ill be giving them a try.
The track was exactly what I needed and the rest of the hardware looks as though it would work perfectly.
