Product Description

These window screen tension springs are constructed of heat treated spring steel and come in a zinc plated finish. Tension springs of this style mount into the corners of 45 degree cut aluminum screen frames and add holding tension when inserted into sliding window screen channels. These tension springs will fit into 5/16 inch or thicker screen frame material. No tools are required for these easy to install tension springs.

These fit well into the 3/16 inch wide screen frame and thankfully Amazon has them as they are hard to find in brick and mortar stores; especially the 3/16 inch width. The product description states the package contains one item so I ordered two packages as I needed two springs. I now have 12 springs as the package contains six springs. It's not worth returning a $4 item so I will keep them.
